What is the Adobe VIP Marketplace?
The next evolution of the VIP buying programme, the Adobe VIP Marketplace delivers a more customised and streamlined system to procure Adobe licences.
This new and innovating licence ordering platform allows Academia to manage your license requirements more effectively.
What does this mean to our customers?
We will shortly be able to offer the functionality to integrate with our existing eCommerce offering. This means that our customers will be able to order their Adobe licences in just a few clicks – which are then instantly available in their Adobe Admin Console ready to be assigned to the user, with an invoice generated within a very short time.
With additional functionality, including auto-renewal function, you will no longer have to worry about renewing your contract on time – as this will be done automatically for you!
How does VIP Marketplace effect how I manage my licences?
Good News! Your VIP Admin console and all existing deployments and settings within your VIP Console will remain the same.
Your VIP Number will also change to an ‘Organisation Account ID’.
Do I have to move over to Adobe VIP Marketplace or is this optional?
The legacy Adobe ordering platforms will eventually be retired. Therefore, all customers will need to be up and running and live with VIP Marketplace as follows:
- For Commercial Customers – 31st January 2025.
- For Government, Public Sector and Educational institutions – Easter 2025.
Please note: From 2nd December 2024, we will no longer be able to create new VIP contracts for customers. All new VIP agreements after this date will originate from Adobe Marketplace.
Academia are taking pro-active steps to migrate its customers to the Marketplace platform in advance of these deadlines, in order that there is no loss of service to any of our Adobe customers.
